Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop strategic FIX client-facing and market-facing connectivity to meet cash equities business needs.
  • •Shape and implement low-latency Java and microservices for real-time order management workloads.
  • •Build event-based, high-throughput components supporting the cash equities trade lifecycle end-to-end.
  • •Partner with product owners and business sponsors to define requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations.
  • •Improve test automation and deployment automation to increase release quality and speed, advancing continuous delivery maturity through stronger pipelines and tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on software engineering experience with low-latency or real-time systems.
  • •Core Java and microservices design/optimization for low-latency architectures, including approaches such as Zero Garbage Collection (Zero GC).
  • •Effective use of Linux or UNIX command line in day-to-day engineering work.
  • •Working knowledge of the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol and cash equities order flows, including DMA/DSA and managed/PT flows.
  • •Experience applying DevOps practices and tooling such as Groovy and Jenkins CI/CD, including logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
