Key Responsibilities

  • •Work in a multi-discipline Asset Operations Team to develop unconventional plays and mature oil and gas fields.
  • •Identify innovative ways to apply HAL technology to design new, step-change field exploitation methodologies.
  • •Analyze production history, well files, equipment, and decline curve/nodal analysis to estimate remaining recoverable reserves, production, and equipment upgrade costs.
  • •Select and implement production technologies and enhanced recovery techniques, including completion systems and artificial lift equipment.
  • •Optimize daily production and field operations, control operating costs, evaluate equipment/procedure modifications for safety and reliability, and maintain relationships with the production team through effective communication.

Key Requirements

  • •Under general supervision from the Production Manager, work effectively within a multi-discipline Asset Operations Team to execute projects from concept to operation.
  • •Minimum 8 years of industry experience; an undergraduate degree is required (degree in geology or engineering preferred).
  • •Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with geologists, engineers, contractors, and asset teams.
  • •Develop and apply HAL technology and service capability to understand reservoir, production, and facilities and design exploitation methodologies.
  • •Use decline curve analysis and nodal analysis to evaluate well performance and identify workover or recompletion candidates.
