Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations for a K-12 online charter school, serving as the executive officer and driving a positive, student-achievement-focused educational program. Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the executive officer of the school and administer the development and sustainment of a positive educational program to foster student achievement.
•Own the school budget, including forecasting and workforce planning, and allocate capital and people resources to meet organizational goals.
•Build a strong relationship with the board (district) clients, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and provide guidance on policies and programs.
•Guide and empower academic leaders and instructional staff through supervision and data-meeting processes, individual and team meetings.
•Oversee staffing needs and hiring processes, implement curriculum resources to meet state standards, and develop and oversee the School Improvement Plan.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree.
•3 or more years of experience in a Principal or School Director position.
•Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans.
•Strong knowledge of instructional and educational leadership strategies, including online instructional design theories and learning style theories.
•Ability to clear required background check and manage travel of up to 15% of the time.
