Job Summary

Manage and coordinate non-financial business risk within the 1st line of defense, including issue management, control monitoring, and risk and control assessments. Lead audit/assurance readiness and time-sensitive activities while ensuring high-quality deliverables and timelines. Validate key control design and operating effectiveness, review risks and controls via walkthroughs and data-driven reviews, support emerging risk knowledge, and participate in automation to improve process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and coordinate non-financial business risk in the 1st line of defense, including issue management, control monitoring, and risk/control assessments.
•Drive audit/assurance readiness and time-sensitive activities with focus on deliverable quality and timelines.
•Validate key controls by inspecting, inquiring, observing, sampling, and performing re-performance and recalculation.
•Review risks and key controls through end-to-end walkthroughs, thematic reviews, data-driven reviews, issue read-across, and evidence reviews.
•Participate in automation projects to improve process efficiency and development, and support emerging risks and controls knowledge/benchmarks.

Key Requirements

•Exceptional project management skills and a good understanding of operational risk frameworks.
•8-15 years of experience with a graduate/master’s degree.
•Good understanding of operational resilience, risk and controls, preferably gained from front line and risk management roles.
•Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management, including influencing senior stakeholders such as risk/control/issue owners and risk stewards.
•Ability to prioritize business risk deliverables and work independently in dynamic work conditions.
