Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Own the full surface from inception to production, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
•Develop Backend APIs, data pipelines, lightweight frontends, and CI/CD workflows with minimal handoffs.
•Build internal AI-powered tools and systems that enable Extreme’s engineering and business teams to operate with higher quality and faster delivery.
•Integrate AI coding agents into production workflows and ensure governance and reliability across AI-assisted development.
•Collaborate with a small, high-ownership team and report to leadership to ship production-grade features.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems
•Python and TypeScript/JavaScript for backend services, pipelines, frontends, and automation
•Experience with CI/CD and automated workflows (GitHub Actions)
•Cloud fundamentals (AWS or Azure) and deployment
•Production experience with AI coding agents or agent frameworks (Anthropic SDK, Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph) and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
