Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering across product, platform, and applied AI, owning roadmap and business outcomes.
  • •Set technical direction across teams by driving design docs and architectural decisions and raising the bar for what ships.
  • •Shape engineering culture, including how code is written, how teams hire and deploy agentic workloads, and how norms persist.
  • •Ship fast by biasing toward production and pulling research/prototypes into reality on days/weeks timelines.
  • •Build the operating model for a human+AI agent engineering org and operate as a peer to the executive team.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of engineering experience, including 6+ years people management at a pre-IPO startup, scale-up, or frontier tech company, plus at least 2 years managing managers.
  • •Run an engineering organization of 30+ with managers and senior engineers reporting in; be able to describe org structure, hiring to scale, and what you’d do differently.
  • •Stay hands-on at the Tech Lead level: pick up unfamiliar codebases, design and ship non-trivial changes, run incidents, and review code at a high bar.
  • •Think end-to-end about the business (economics, product, GTM, customers) and make calls best for the company, not just the team.
  • •Deep technical credibility in at least one area (full-stack product, platform/developer experience, or applied AI including training/evals/agent systems/model serving).
