Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose equipment issues.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations and perform repairs.
  • •When required, travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation (work orders) and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, plus ability to obtain EPA 608 within 6–12 months if not already certified.
