Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage the mechanical design engineering team, including 1-on-1s, performance reviews, mentorship, and growth conversations.
  • •Own the mechanical engineering workqueue, assigning engineers to projects based on expertise and production schedule priorities and surfacing schedule risks.
  • •Provide advanced technical execution as an individual contributor when needed, using expert 3D modeling to tackle complex design challenges.
  • •Review mechanical deliverables including specification sheets, BOMs, structural/thermal analysis, and detailed assembly instructions.
  • •Independently lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and engineering standards; manage design-to-manufacturing handoff and DFMA/DFx reviews.

Key Requirements
