Key Responsibilities

•Support metallurgical studies and engineering for mineral processing facilities from concept through detailed design.
•Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to define requirements and communicate technical findings.
•Develop mass balances, process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment sizing calculations, and process design criteria.
•Coordinate laboratory and pilot-scale test programs, analyze results, and translate findings into design recommendations.
•Contribute to capital/operating cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering documentation, supporting delivery on schedule and within budget.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
•5–10 years of relevant experience in mineral processing and metallurgical engineering.
•Eligibility for, or registration as, a P.Eng. with the appropriate provincial engineering association.
•Experience developing process designs, mass balances, and equipment selection packages.
•Familiarity with laboratory test work programs and interpretation of metallurgical results.
