Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily tasks associated with Bi-Product/Wastewater operations, including inspections, equipment monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
  • •Load and move bi-product trailers and tankers and act as the daily point of contact for deliveries and pickups.
  • •Fill out bi-product bill of lading and attach security seals where required.
  • •Clean wastewater areas and equipment; operate and maintain blood trough and plant water softeners.
  • •Monitor water/wastewater control systems, conduct daily lab testing of wastewater effluent, record results, and adjust process control to stay within discharge limits.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of experience in operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and related equipment and distribution systems.
  • •Must possess or obtain within 12 months of employment a Wastewater Operator Certification.

  • •Knowledge of maintenance and wastewater terminology to communicate with department personnel and technical contacts.
  • •Valid driver’s license; tractor/trailer or yard truck experience is preferred.
