Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide responsible-in-charge supervision of technical staff, engineers, and task leads, including workload tracking and forecasts.
  • •Oversee engineering deliverables such as calculations, cost estimates, drawings, technical specifications, and reports/studies, ensuring QA/QC for marine facility projects.
  • •Manage PS&E milestone progress, completion of Plans/Specifications/Estimate submissions, and engineering review of permit applications for compliance with regulations and engineering standards.
  • •Lead alternatives analysis reports and presentations for repair projects and capital improvement programs, and run client meetings and design charrettes.
  • •Maintain project schedules, budgets, profitability, and coordination of cross-functional multi-discipline internal and external teams; support proposals and business development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education engineering experience with demonstrated marine and coastal design experience (rehabilitation and new design).
  • •Professional Engineering license required (multi-state preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • •Proficiency completing technical computations and applying engineering principles to ports and marine structures.
  • •Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD, REVIT, and SAP2000 (or similar tools) and leading design/build and site inspections/investigations.
