Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct design reviews to translate customer needs into CTQs and improve part manufacturability.
  • •Lead new commercial tool introductions end-to-end through a stage gate process and on-time schedules.
  • •Lead thermoforming process development via parameter optimization, DOE experiments, and trials to establish robust, repeatable processes.
  • •Select tooling vendors and provide sign-off for acceptance of tooling.
  • •Work with production and quality for tool debugging, process validation, and defining optimal forming/trimming windows and processing specifications.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred: a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • •Preferred: thermoforming, part design and/or mold-making experience.
  • •5+ years of industry experience in plastics manufacturing & processing (extrusion, thermoforming, and tooling).
  • •Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • •Experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing environment with OEMs and suppliers.
