Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise mid- to junior-level engineers on multi-disciplinary water/wastewater projects.
  • •Coordinate project completion on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • •Lead technical design staff for water conveyance/pipelines, potable water treatment, wastewater treatment, water storage, civil site improvements, pumping stations, and conceptual studies.
  • •Handle client liaison and relationship management, and prepare documentation including correspondence, reports, proposals, and technical specifications.
  • •Perform quality control review of design calculations/drawings and participate in interdisciplinary review; coordinate with other project team members and departments.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Substantial experience in detailed design with 8+ years plus engineering design and project management in a consulting environment delivering water/wastewater projects.
  • •P.E. license (and/or Professional Engineering License in California as stated in preferred qualifications).
  • •Experience coordinating and managing municipal infrastructure design (e.g., water mains, sewers) is an asset.
  • •Familiarity with AutoCAD and the ability to perform open channel and closed pipe hydraulic calculations/modeling.
