Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering and quality-related queries, owning customer-reported issues and providing expert technical assistance.
•Deliver technical support to customers onsite and remotely (email/phone), including troubleshooting, fault investigation, repair, and creating detailed reports.
•Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams across Japan and global factories to escalate and resolve complex challenges.
•Represent Thales in technical discussions with customers and relay requirements/feedback to factories.
•Participate in pre-shipment inspections (Factory Acceptance Tests), organize pre-delivery inspections, and maintain technical documentation.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in field support, technical service, or a similar role.
•Hands-on experience with electronics, optronics, sonar, radar, radio, or telecommunication equipment and systems.
•Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking systems; experience with switches, routers, and firewalls is preferred.
•Native-level Japanese and advanced English, with the ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
