Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead 2K’s data engineering vision and next-gen data strategy across Sports, Core, and R&D.
  • •Transition the data platform toward AI-augmented data processing using tools such as Snowflake Cortex or Databricks Genie.
  • •Own FinOps and cloud infrastructure budget, monitoring and optimizing data processing costs and evaluating ROI.
  • •Drive the end-to-end telemetry lifecycle, establishing high-signal, low-latency telemetry standards across titles and platforms.
  • •Build and scale ML Ops capabilities, hire and mentor the team, and align data roadmaps through strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering focused on high-scale distributed systems and telemetry.
  • •Proven success leading or managing engineering teams in complex, multi-title environments.
  • •Deep understanding of telemetry, including event-driven architecture and telemetry schema design.
  • •Experience with streaming telemetry and feature pipelines supporting real-time machine learning operations.
  • •FinOps mindset managing large-scale cloud budgets with performance and cost-efficiency in mind.
