Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain plumbing systems in peak operating condition and develop/update preventative maintenance work instructions to prevent unplanned service interruptions.
  • •Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • •Perform shop work and/or on-site inspection, troubleshooting, cleaning, reassembly, and testing of pumps and mechanical equipment.
  • •Conduct failure assessments and day-to-day safety inspections, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
  • •Operate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, boom lift, work truck, overhead crane) and manage electronic work tickets in SpaceX systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • •3+ years of professional experience working with plumbing systems.
  • •Knowledge of plumbing and related mechanical systems such as piping, tubing, pipe fittings, and rotating machinery (e.g., pumps, air compressors).
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level and read/interpret schematics, specifications, and blueprints.
  • •Familiarity with commercial building codes and safe work practices.
