Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects and company facilities safely and efficiently by operating ready mix trucks and following dispatch instructions. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain required documentation, mileage logs, and product-quality checks. Load and unload materials, monitor gauges, complete minor maintenance, keep the vehicle clean, and maintain regular attendance while complying with DOT, OSHA/MSHA, and company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction sites, facilities, and customers while operating the truck safely.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
•Maintain daily mileage logs and follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Load and unload materials, monitor vehicle gauges, and assure product quality.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance, keep the vehicle clean, and maintain regular attendance.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED.
•2+ years of experience driving a mixer truck (preferred).
•Valid driver’s license with CDL A or CDL B; maintain required endorsements (e.g., air brake, possible hazmat/tanker).
•Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check; possess a valid DOT medical card.
•Follow DOT, OSHA and/or MSHA safety requirements and company policies/procedures.
