Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute AI/ML strategy aligned to modernization objectives, delivering predictive, forecasting, and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • •Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ML and Generative/Agentic AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, and AI agents.
  • •Build and tune models using appropriate algorithms and data pipelines, transitioning proof-of-concepts to production.
  • •Implement MLOps/LLMOps automation for model deployment, monitoring, versioning, lineage, and lifecycle management integrated with CI/CD and DevSecOps.
  • •Ensure Responsible AI compliance (transparency, fairness, explainability, security, privacy), conduct bias and explainability assessments, and maintain AI governance documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS or equivalent required (MA/MS strongly preferred).
  • •15+ years general experience in information systems, with at least 10+ years specialized experience (degree substitution options listed).
  • •Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP, plus experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or advanced analytics.
  • •Strong proficiency with Python and SQL, and ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost) plus cloud AI services (AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
  • •Experience implementing MLOps/LLMOps and integrating ML workflows into CI/CD environments; knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST AI RMF).
