Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in defining and driving pre-silicon and post-silicon milestones and risk callouts across cross-functional teams.
  • •Lead bring-up planning and ensure fastest, functional bring-up once silicon arrives in the lab.
  • •Debug, triage, and escalate silicon issues from tape-out to IP milestone; communicate updates to management.
  • •Provide inputs to Silicon Validation on coverage for new SOC features and functional system-level coverage.
  • •Exhibit strong technical leadership on X86 architecture and coordinate HW/FW/SW decisions across teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Over 15 years of engineering experience with strong BIOS/FW/SW intercepting knowledge across pre- and post-silicon enablement and validation.
  • •Deep experience with X86 architecture, hardware and firmware interplay, and cross-domain collaboration between hardware, firmware, and software teams.
  • •Proven ability to lead cross-functional silicon bring-up, issue debugging, triage, and milestone tracking from tape-out to IP milestone.
  • •Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen4+, DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR4/LPDDR5, USB4.0/3.2/3.1, USB Type-C, Ethernet) and board-level measurement techniques.
  • •Scripting proficiency in TCL and Python; strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
