Job Summary

Deliver person-centred care at Bupa’s Aston Court care home as a Registered Nurse on a bank basis. You’ll take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing, carry out assessments and care plan updates, and monitor practices against relevant standards and legislation. You’ll also coach and guide colleagues, provide clinical guidance, support medication oversight, and help ensure CQC-related tasks are completed effectively.

•Take responsibility for residents’ wellbeing, ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met.
•Coach and guide the team through formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
•Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
•Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation.
•Manage clinical oversight in the home, including administering and ordering medication, reviewing care plans, providing clinical guidance, and delivering best practice continually.

Key Requirements

•Valid NMC pin to work as a Registered Nurse.
•Responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care and medication administration and ordering.
•Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
•Confident providing clinical guidance to care teams and supporting CQC tasks.
•Strong communication and reporting skills for handover of clinical issues; if working at night, strong critical thinking and self-reliance when working alone with limited support.
