Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with firmware engineers to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for gateway and sensor products.
  • •Bring up new hardware platforms by configuring I/O and debugging interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, ADC), then testing connectivity and validating initialization.
  • •Implement peripheral drivers, secure bootloaders, and device firmware update, including core management layers such as power and connectivity managers.
  • •Design and implement efficient hardware management to optimize energy consumption for battery-powered sensors and gateways.
  • •Work cross-functionally with product, full-stack, and quality teams to deliver reliable embedded software, participating in customer interviews and using metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Solid C programming skills and familiarity with embedded programming concepts.
  • •Prior experience with MCU development environments and tools (Segger J-Link, GCC).
  • •Experience with bare metal and/or RTOS-based systems such as Zephyr and/or FreeRTOS.
  • •Experience with one or more core technologies such as BLE, GPS, LTE and CAN.
