Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the billing platform roadmap to move AppDirect from subscription-based to consumption-based billing.
  • •Integrate token-based billing capabilities and token management into the marketplace in collaboration with the Devs.AI team.
  • •Automate client account workflows and payment reconciliation to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
  • •Build AI-assisted subscription management features with decision-support tools to recommend optimal plans.
  • •Benchmark AppDirects’s billing platform against leading AI-based billing solutions and deliver a prioritized 1-year roadmap.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of product management experience with strong expertise in billing, payments and subscriptions.
  • • Proven track record deploying consumption-based or usage-based billing features, including token counting and withdrawal concepts.
  • • Hands-on experience with payment and funds transfer APIs such as Stripe, Adyen or Plaid, including drafting/reviewing API docs.
  • • Experience with enterprise billing platforms or ERPs (e.g., Zuora, Chargebee, NetSuite, Recurly) is a plus.
  • • Knowledge of PCI, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 in the context of a payments/billing product is a plus.
