Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and comply with SFS objectives and projects across manufacturing quality.
  • •Define and maintain quality specifications and communicate quality standards to manufacturing and quality auditors.
  • •Develop and monitor quality plans and inspection procedures for incoming, in-process, and finished goods, including test equipment and gages.
  • •Perform measurement systems analysis (MSA) and coordinate quality issues and countermeasures with appropriate personnel.
  • •Drive root-cause corrective actions and maintain ISO requirements and documentation (including ISO9000 paperwork, FSA audit plans, and gage calibration).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Associate’s degree with technical focus) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •5+ years applicable experience.
  • •Knowledge of gaging and inspection techniques, including GD&T.
  • •Proficiency with system/process improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, TQM, Lean, and PPAP.
  • •Strong organizational and decision-making skills, including managing multiple projects at once.
