Join Persona's Compute team to build internal platform tooling, APIs, and deployment pipelines that empower product engineers to deploy, scale, and observe services at production scale. Own the Kubernetes platform, ArgoCD pipelines, and Terraform IaC, while prioritizing developer experience and a self-service, observable infrastructure that reduces support tickets and accelerates product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Build internal platform tooling and APIs that product engineers use to deploy, scale, and observe services, with developer experience as a first-class requirement.
•Own and evolve the Kubernetes platform, ArgoCD deployment pipeline, and Terraform IaC that underpin every service at Persona.
•Improve platform observability so issues have self-service answers; instrumentation is a platform primitive and not a per-service afterthought.
•Drive Cloud Run-to-Kubernetes migration, working with product teams to remove blockers and hand off operational ownership.
•Design self-service workflows to reduce the Compute interrupt load, enabling product engineers to do more without filing a ticket.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of shipping production services and debugging distributed systems.
•Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, RBAC policies, and diagnosing scheduling or pod startup issues.
•Experience with infrastructure as code and declarative infrastructure; ability to modify IaC in a team setting and understand change safety.
•Product instinct: measure adoption, use feedback to drive improvements, and design for developer experience in CLIs and APIs.
•Familiarity with platform tooling and APIs to deploy, scale, and observe services, with emphasis on observability and self-service workflows.
