Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop civil airfield and municipal design documents, including site design and construction improvement documentation.
  • •Coordinate planning, design, and construction activities with planning/design teams, contractors, and sub-consultants.
  • •Provide civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for general aviation and commercial air service airports.
  • •Plan, direct, and monitor engineering and municipal project aspects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage, utility relocation/protection, and pavement rehabilitation.
  • •Participate from planning through construction administration (grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans), including regular site visits.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS and 6 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •US Citizen.
  • •Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or Open Roads Designer.

  • •EI or PE, preferably State of Iowa.
