Key Responsibilities

  • •Reliability Test Planning: Assess key component reliability and related failure modes, translating use-case requirements into accelerated test requirements.
  • •Testing & Characterization: Perform reliability testing on PCBAs, controllers, batteries, motors, and other electromechanical components; set up and operate test instrumentation.
  • •Testing Processes & Automation: Utilize Python scripting for test automation, data acquisition, and analysis; maintain lab equipment and develop standardized procedures.
  • •Interpretation & Reporting: Collect and analyze test data to identify trends and root causes; document procedures and results for reporting.
  • •Design for Reliability: Implement DFR methodologies to identify and mitigate failure modes; conduct DFMEA during concept/design phases.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, 5-7 years of experience (Master’s preferred with 2+ years).
  • •Hands-on testing experience and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in a lab environment.
  • •Proficiency with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQs, and power supplies.
  • •Experience with design for reliability methodologies and familiarity with HALT/HASS/environmental stress screening.
  • •Knowledge of programming/scripting for test automation, data analysis, and processing.
