Key Responsibilities

  • •Shuttle full exports and imports in the port precinct.
  • •Move empty containers around the port precinct.
  • •Deliver containers to customer sites in metro and regional/rural areas.
  • •Perform pre-start equipment checks, fault reporting, and weight scale calibration.
  • •Manage chain of responsibility compliance and maintain driver time sheets and load data to a high standard.

Key Requirements

  • •Current MC licence.
  • •Current MSIC.
  • •Safe driving record and previous container truck driving experience with A-Doubles, including reversing and breaking down trailers.
  • •Knowledge of empty parks and terminals in Sydney and correct load positions with current legal weight limit knowledge.
  • •Physically fit to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening.
