Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement Alstom rolling stock maintenance strategies with KPIs, optimization initiatives, and technical specifications supporting procurements.
  • •Oversee contractor performance across maintenance contracts, including preventive and corrective maintenance execution, submissions review, and technical evaluations.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional technical interfaces (signaling, SCADA, power, depot, communications) and ensure system sustainability and integration with RTA standards.
  • •Lead factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning, technical inspections, and quality assurance; manage snag identification and closure during the DLP.
  • •Analyze performance data and maintenance reports, manage spare parts availability, support scrapping/replacement decisions, and approve maintenance improvement requests and engineering changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or rail systems engineering; or a master’s degree in transportation engineering or maintenance management.
  • •6+ years of experience (8+ years if holding a master’s degree) in relevant rail rolling stock maintenance work.
  • •Ability to develop rolling stock maintenance strategies with KPIs and optimization initiatives aligned to operational objectives.
  • •Experience overseeing contractor execution, testing activities, commissioning/inspections, and quality assurance for rail assets.
  • •Strong capability to manage risks and safety cases, maintain hazard mitigation measures, and support variations/claims related to rolling stock and associated systems.
