Key Responsibilities

  • •Use engine/compressor analysis, vibration, emissions analysis, and borescope equipment to acquire machinery data.
  • •Analyze data to develop recommendations and corrective actions for gas compression equipment and related plant systems.
  • •Support analysis and maintenance of plant systems, including control systems and auxiliary/ancillary equipment, working with location personnel.
  • •Conduct portable emissions analysis testing for compliance and assist with greenhouse gas and leak surveys using advanced detection/imaging equipment.
  • •Maintain accurate records of engine/compressor analysis and emissions testing, and support identification/prioritization of capital and O&M improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred; 1–4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience with reciprocating and rotating machinery repair and/or machinery diagnostics, including internal combustion engines and gas compression equipment.
  • •Experience with condition monitoring systems such as Windrock or similar analysis equipment, plus condition-based maintenance knowledge.
  • •Ability to investigate and troubleshoot vibration problems with spectral analysis, and to store/archive electronic data in databases.
  • •Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 30–50 pounds as required, climb and work from elevated platforms; must speak and understand English.
