Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve manufacturing processes by supporting new product/process introduction, problem solving, and process improvements across existing products.
  • •Drive SQCDP/QCD improvement activities including first pass yield, right first time, lean improvements, Zero Defect, and delivery of committed targets.
  • •Implement process improvements to improve part quality and reduce cycle time and cost; prevent process bottlenecks using Lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • •Create part manufacturing data sheets, manufacturing process planning documentation, and PPAP artifacts (e.g., PFMEA, control plans, SPC) while participating in change board and configuration activities.
  • •Support the production floor with drawing and technical specification interpretations; address MRB conditions and recommend/implement corrective actions (e.g., 8D/RCCA).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Aerospace.
  • •7-11 years of manufacturing experience, including aerospace manufacturing background.
  • •Expertise in manufacturing process planning, BOM creation, and technical/manufacturing instruction development, including PPAP tools (PFMEA, MSA, control plans, SPC).
  • •Strong knowledge of GD&T, drawing/model interrogation, assembly sequencing, and aerospace manufacturing documentation (APQP, AS 9100).
  • •Experience with NADCAP requirements and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, plus shopfloor exposure.
