Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a safety and environmental leader by adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • •Operate, troubleshoot and modify laboratory and pilot-scale equipment.
  • •Assist with design and construction of laboratory and pilot-scale set-ups.
  • •Update process drawings (e.g., flowsheets and P&IDs) and assist with technical investigations using plant sampling and measurements.
  • •Support process development, start-up, and handover activities; write reports and communicate results with technical teams and trades.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of a recognized Institute of Technology or university in metallurgical, mineral processing or chemical sciences is required.
  • •Working knowledge of physical, chemical and metallurgical processes (preferred).
  • •Working towards or eligible for registration with ASTTBC (asset).
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support a technical group.
  • •Strong organization, time management, and self-starter mindset.
