Key Responsibilities

  • •Build the Forward Deployed Engineering function from zero: charter, operating model, quality bar, and metrics.
  • •Hire and lead Forward Deployed Engineers and establish team standards.
  • •Design processes for how engineers scope, embed, build, and hand over work with customers.
  • •Build hands-on in customer environments using agents, pipelines, and custom logic on production data.
  • •Work with Product and Engineering to turn edge one-offs into platform capability and lead escalations with IT and Procurement.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building software close to customers, including forward deployed/deployment-style engineering or technical program leadership in a product company.
  • •Write code and work at a working level with Python and SQL.
  • •Comfortable with data pipelines and integration architecture.
  • •1+ years leading engineers, or experience building something from zero and having people follow.
  • •Senior customer presence, including C-level escalations; native or C1 German and fluent English.
