Key Responsibilities

•Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders on global labor law and employment-related issues including hiring, performance management, terminations, and benefits.
•Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other employment-related documents.
•Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
•Advise on employee disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances with timely, fair, and consistent treatment.
•Collaborate with HR and other internal counsels on projects including incentive plans, IP protection, restructuring, and M&A due diligence and integration.

Key Requirements

•Licensed attorney in Germany.
•Minimum 5 years of experience as internal legal counsel in a high-tech/technology company with a focus on labor and employment law.
•Strong knowledge of contract, commercial, and data protection/privacy law and practical international business experience.
•Experience handling employment-related litigation, including discrimination claims and unfair dismissal.
•Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions and their implications for employment law; experience advising on international employment matters in the EMEA region.
