Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage mid-scale project teams and workloads between bridge teams.
  • •Author high-quality technical reports and present work at client meetings.
  • •Perform structural analysis and design; develop schematic and detailed designs for small to large projects.
  • •Check and critically review deliverables, including work by junior engineers and AutoCAD technicians.
  • •Prepare and review project cost estimates and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, codes of practice, and client requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in bridge design from a consulting firm.
  • •Fully proficient in structural analysis and design of various structures, including review of deliverables.
  • •Experience with engineering software such as Staad Pro, LUSAS, and MIDAS.
  • •Knowledge of international railway standards, international codes of practice, and health & safety legislation.
  • •Team leadership experience and ability to critically review/verify others’ work in the project team.
