Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute commodity strategies for Chemical Delivery commodities and related equipment.
  • •Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned CD suppliers and manage supplier KPI tracking for cost, quality, delivery, and lead time.
  • •Identify alternate sources to mitigate supply risk and ensure continuity; engage new supplier introduction/disengagement requirements.
  • •Oversee CD supplier qualification processes, including technical capability/raw material assessments and compliance to global standards.
  • •Negotiate commercial terms and act as final escalation point for supplier issues; evaluate cost structures and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Indian citizen with a valid passport and ability to travel to Asia, Singapore, China and USA.
  • •10+ years of experience in manufacturing, strategic sourcing, category management, project management, and/or relevant certifications.
  • •Practical experience procuring equipment from CD suppliers and 5+ years leading large-scale commercial negotiations.
  • •Ability to read technical drawings and develop relationships in a matrixed organization to influence and drive change.
  • •Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP and Power BI; knowledge of SAP & Ariba RFQ tools is an advantage.
