Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate mechanical and electrical systems and create project development and cost estimates for materials, subcontract scope, pricing, and constructability.
  • •Develop detailed scope and cost estimates for proposals, including system sketches, scope definition, exceptions/exclusions, and preliminary proposal content.
  • •Collect project data and use plans and specifications to analyze project needs and compile accurate estimates.
  • •Perform equipment take-off and pricing to ensure correct quantities, configurations, voltage, options, and related details.
  • •Review bid documents and subcontractor proposals for conflicts/constructability issues, hold pre-bid meetings, identify cost-saving and risk items, and support strategic job acquisition.

Salary: USD 70,400 - 128,379.99 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • •Mechanical and/or HVACR related work experience.
  • •Experience with construction estimating, project bidding, and/or procurement for mechanical, electrical, and associated building systems.
  • •Working knowledge of construction facets including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and HVAC systems, electrical systems, and temperature controls.
  • •Ability to work outside normal hours/weekends as needed, including some travel and occasional overnight stays.
