Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, update, calibrate, verify, and maintain hydraulic and urban drainage models using InfoWorks ICM.
  • •Deliver catchment-level and local network assessments for foul, storm, and combined sewer systems.
  • •Run model scenarios and interpret flood risk, spill risk, CSO/SWO performance, surcharge, capacity, and network performance results.
  • •Support integrated model development, flow survey planning, data review, and scenario testing.
  • •Prepare technical reports, maps, presentations, and option appraisal outputs; check inputs/assumptions/outputs and mentor junior modellers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Hydrology, GIS or related discipline.
  • •Strong hands-on experience in hydraulic network modelling within consultancy, utility or infrastructure environments.
  • •Strong proficiency in InfoWorks ICM (or similar hydraulic modelling software).
  • •Experience building, verifying, calibrating, maintaining models, running scenario testing, and preparing technical reporting.
  • •Experience with flood and spill risk assessment, CSO/SWO assessment, development impact assessment, or hydraulic asset planning.
