Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Design low-voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400V), including UPS sources.
  • •Design general and emergency lighting systems, including selecting lighting types/sources and preparing results using design software.
  • •Design cable management systems (CMS) such as trunking, tray, and conduits, including CMS sizing calculations and self-checking.
  • •Model and develop 3D MEP designs using Bentley Microstation and AECOsim, generating 2D sections from 3D models for drawings.
  • •Supervise and mentor assistant engineers/engineers and ensure designs meet project requirements, including H&S responsibilities for self and team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineer.
  • •Proven experience in designing Railway infra projects and electrical building services.
  • •Good working knowledge of lighting types and sources, including LED types.
  • •Experience operating AMTECH / Electrical OM and industry-standard lighting design software.
  • •Ability to demonstrate management and technical skills, working both independently and within the team as workload dictates.
