Job Summary

Lead the financial operations for the Iraq branch by overseeing accounting processes, preparing budgets, and delivering real-time financial reporting. You will manage general and cost accounting, journal entries, asset and inventory records, and ensure GAAP compliance. Work with ERP systems (SAP) to analyze trends, support MIS, and provide strategic financial insights to guide budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general or cost accounting activities and classification/recording of financial transactions.
•Assist in preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts and ensure timely oversight of financial data.
•Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy and conformance to standards; ensure data is accurate and clearly presented.
•Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets; provide comparisons of budgeted costs to actual costs.
•Develop, implement, and document accounting systems; ensure real‑time availability of financial reports and data quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounts and Finance
•CPA or ACCA qualification
•5+ years accounting experience (with 3 years relevant experience; GCC experience a plus)
•Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP
