Job Summary

Join the delivery team building Fiserv’s Commerce Hub omnichannel platform. You’ll design and develop Java-based payment APIs, create microservices with reactive patterns, and build high-throughput, high-volume integrations for merchants’ existing infrastructure. Partner on API gateway/API management, cloud-native AWS solutions, event-driven architectures, and the documentation of API specifications plus client libraries/SDKs to accelerate speed to market.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze complex processes and technologically heterogeneous applications in the Commerce Hub delivery team.
•Design software solutions for the real-time payments domain and develop microservices for protocol translation and enrichment using reactive design patterns.
•Deliver end-to-end Payment API solutions, including high-throughput, high-volume transaction APIs for omnichannel platforms.
•Enhance API solutions to provide simple, easy-to-consume payment APIs and help develop roadmap strategies for API specifications.
•Develop client libraries and SDKs for API products and participate in API documentation efforts.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in Java with Git, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, and Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO, WebFlux) plus Spring Boot.
•6+ years of experience with API gateway/API management tools such as Apigee or AWS API Gateway.
•6+ years of cloud experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, DynamoDB) and cloud-native patterns.
•6+ years of experience with Spring Cloud/Data/Transactional/Batch (desired) and event-driven architectures using messaging/streaming (Kafka Streams, RabbitMQ, or similar).
•6+ years working with databases/integrations such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB, plus a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/related (or equivalent experience).
