Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the frontend for research infrastructure digital platforms, delivering responsive, consistent experiences across devices.
  • •Build PI workspace and secure self-service workflows for projects, credits, member management, and transaction history with least-privilege and auditability.
  • •Design dashboards for compute credit utilization, spending trends, project/student activity, and operational observability (job status, queue health, resource availability).
  • •Integrate the portal with university systems (ERP, PostgreSQL, Slurm, cluster monitoring, storage, cloud, financial services) via REST or gRPC APIs and maintain data accuracy.
  • •Lead technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and deliver incrementally through Agile planning with strong testing (unit/integration/e2e/accessibility/performance/regression) and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Own frontend development for research infrastructure platforms using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with responsive UI and reusable components.
  • •Build secure PI/self-service workflows for projects, credit transfers, member management, and transaction history using auditable access controls.
  • •Design interactive dashboards for compute credit utilization, spending trends, activity, job status, queue health, and exports with clear terminology for non-technical users.
  • •Integrate REST/gRPC APIs and backend services using Java/Spring Boot (or comparable), with reliable data modeling, SQL expertise, and transaction handling (preferably PostgreSQL).
  • •Implement enterprise identity integration (SSO, role-based access control, audit logging) and deliver with Git-based CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring, and automated testing.
