Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide in-person O&M assessments and direct services per IEP requirements.
  • •Communicate with parents, teachers, and students to develop consistent service schedules.
  • •Develop IEP goals relevant to the educational setting
  • •Teach travel skills including sensory efficiency, cane techniques, orientation strategies, and environmental awareness.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of experience as an Orientation & Mobility Specialist.
  • •Valid state certification in Orientation & Mobility as required by the state department of education
  • •Ability to travel for face-to-face O&M services
  • •Experience supporting students in virtual settings
  • •Proficiency with basic computer systems such as MS365 and ability to pass background checks
