Spearhead SBA loan origination in a Business Banking market by sourcing opportunities, building a referral network, and guiding borrowers through SBA 7(a) and 504 processes. You’ll collaborate with internal partners, manage a robust pipeline, and deliver a customer-centric experience to grow the SBA loan portfolio while representing the bank at local SBA events.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement a personal business plan and marketing strategy to identify opportunities for new business penetration and build a solid base of referral sources.
•Maintain a referral network of business brokers, consultants, lawyers, and accountants to generate leads and meet sales goals.
•Structure, present, and guide lending opportunities through application, underwriting, and closing to meet SBA requirements.
•Apply a thorough understanding of bank credit policy and underwriting guidelines while coordinating with Credit Services to ensure regulatory compliance.
•Participate in local SBA district events and cultivate COIs to expand market presence.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in SBA lending with a proven track record of loan origination.
•In-depth knowledge of SBA loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements.
•Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment.
•Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
•Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities.
