Key Responsibilities

  • •Own technical revenue accounting for complex and non-standard arrangements, including ASC 606 assessments of pricing, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
  • •Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Product, and Finance before deals and initiatives are finalized to provide accounting guidance and shape deal structures.
  • •Lead operationalization of new arrangements and monetization models by translating contract and product economics into billing, revenue recognition, reporting, data, and control requirements.
  • •Own ongoing accounting for assigned complex arrangements, including recurring calculations and estimates, monitoring variables, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate close and reporting.
  • •Support revenue close, reporting, and control activities, including reviews of analyses/workpapers, reconciliations, disclosures, internal controls, and external audit matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • •6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, ideally in SaaS/cloud/AI/infrastructure or another tech business with complex usage-based and enterprise arrangements.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and the ability to independently evaluate complex and non-standard contracts, including modifications and variable consideration.
  • •Proven ability to partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Product, Billing, Engineering, and Finance while balancing responsiveness with sound accounting judgment.
  • •Experience translating technical accounting conclusions into operational execution, including scalable processes, controls, system requirements, and recurring accounting procedures.
