Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage SHEQ and HR functions to support a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
  • •Ensure compliance with Epiroc Group standards, ISO requirements, and Namibian labour and SHEQ legislation.
  • •Drive SHEQ initiatives including incident reporting, risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
  • •Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • •Monitor, report, and present SHEQ and HR performance metrics to management; maintain accurate employee records and compliance documentation standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 education.
  • •A degree in Human Resources and a SHEQ Diploma/Certificate qualification.
  • •Minimum 3 years of industry experience in industrial or mining environments.
  • •Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 implementation and internal auditing.
  • •MS Office literacy and computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft packages; SHEQ tools and root-cause/statistical analysis knowledge is an advantage.
