Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the security guard contract and overall guard force operations.
  • •Ensure staffing requirements are met and verify all new security personnel meet required certifications/licensing before assignment.
  • •Oversee training management, including planning and delivering ongoing refresher training each calendar year.
  • •Develop and execute quarterly security exercises at CDC facilities and conduct/document After-Action Reviews with corrective actions to the CDC COR.
  • •Provide supervision for security personnel at CDC facilities, including weekly on-site visits across shifts and availability for emergency response. Maintain post orders and procedures and act as liaison with the CDC COR.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 109,546 - 185,873

Key Requirements

  • •Management/supervisory and operational experience in law enforcement and/or the security field.
  • •Working knowledge of physical security operations, including security administration, access control, security systems, and best business practices.
  • •Experience delivering or managing security training programs.
  • •Strong proficiency in computer systems and operational applications.
  • •Must be able to pass CDC background investigation and obtain CDC suitability approval. Prior federal security badge/suitability preferred.
