Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and schedule all outbound and inbound loads and coordinate with sales and production.
  • •Coordinate proper loading and shipping orders with S/R personnel and set up loads with common carriers.
  • •Determine mode of transportation and select carriers; negotiate rates and ensure delivery instructions match customer receiving times.
  • •Ensure internal/external paperwork meets Universal and DOT regulations and establish delivery/receiving appointments and loading times.
  • •Audit and approve freight bills, file claims for loss or damage, and document/trace shortages or order expediting needs.
