Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting as the business scales.
  • •Prepare accurate numbers across production activities, AP, payroll, capital, share options, transfer pricing, and taxes.
  • •Support selection, implementation, and operation of core finance systems (ERP and supporting tooling), building fit-for-purpose processes.
  • •Establish audit-ready controls and processes from the ground up and lead external audit.
  • •Partner with engineering and manufacturing to ensure production data flows into accounting in a controlled and reportable way.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), ideally Big Four trained, ready for a hands-on role.
  • •Strong technical accounting foundations with a high bar for accuracy and control.
  • •Fluent in IFRS and UK GAAP, with willingness to learn additional standards.
  • •Comfortable owning end-to-end work in a small, flat team with limited support.
  • •Ability to stand up a finance function from scratch, including controls and processes as the business scales.
