Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of 6–10 engineers to deliver drivers and software that unlock systems and hardware value.
  • •Drive development and delivery of NI drivers and software products, including new features, hardware enablement, sustaining, and defining future software direction.
  • •Manage projects from conception to delivery by owning schedules and delegating execution to team members.
  • •Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Support, and Manufacturing to ensure customer success and pursue opportunity-based projects.
  • •Mentor and grow team members; support customer escalations and communicate with product-line stakeholders and upper management.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in electronics engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
  • •5–7 years of software engineering experience plus 1–2 years managing a team.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of C++ and object-oriented programming, including software architecture for hardware & systems.
  • •Experience with agile and waterfall project management tools and delivering to project specs and deadlines.
  • •Experience with hardware & systems programming; Windows & Linux driver development is a plus.
