Key Responsibilities

  • •Be a courageous safety leader and adhere to/sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • •Monitor the sand filter and adjust sand addition/removal to keep water discharge aligned with the permit
  • •Mix dried gypsum with the bag plant system and move 1500–2000 lb. bags using small equipment such as forklifts
  • •Perform housekeeping/clean-up, including proper cleaning of sand filters and organization of the mill area
  • •Use small equipment (forklift, vac truck, overhead cranes) as needed and communicate shift carryover/updates; perform workplace inspections and comply with policies/standard operating procedures
